CPU cache speed will never be the bottleneck of your system. They are used to store stuff that you use a lot like IP adresses for your most visited websites. Cache is only a couple MB big, not closely enough to store gaming related stuff (renders etc.)

The difference will be negligible though, right? Especially if I'm only really gaming. And l don't want to consume more power. That's a bigger priority than slightly faster browsing or whatever.
