How do l overclock cpu cache?

In BIOS it is usualy called CPU Ring instead of CPU Cache.

It isn't usefull and won't increase fps in games and will consume more power. Rather overclock the core.

I don't have a "cpu ring" in my bios. It gives me the option to set minumum cpu cache, maximum, and the voltage for it.

I guess that's that then. I don't want to be consuming power for no reason.

CPU cache speed will never be the bottleneck of your system. They are used to store stuff that you use a lot like IP adresses for your most visited websites. Cache is only a couple MB big, not closely enough to store gaming related stuff (renders etc.)

The difference will be negligible though, right? Especially if I'm only really gaming. And l don't want to consume more power. That's a bigger priority than slightly faster browsing or whatever.
