Forgot to add, already got the ram. Only 8GB though.

It's the RMI series BTW.

Isn't the AMP 1080 from zotac pretty good? And not to mention cheaper? Or is the 70 quid worth it for the aura pairing.

As I only want RGB to make it all orange.

Zotac has no rgb iirc. The whole thing comes at 1500 pounds. I was giving a rough estimate. Asus Strix performs better too. Can't find rgb ram lol.

Already going to wait for kaby lake for the CPU, the 1080Ti will be a long way away, seeing as currently I don't have a decent gaming system, just a laptop with a 920M and a desktop with a GT620

If you're going to wait another week, you'll probably find out about prices for Zen, the new Vega card, and the 1080 Ti. Anyway, here's a build assuming you already have a keybaord, mouse, 4k monitor, and Windows key. It features 1 6700k, two 1080s, an AIO with a 280mm radiator, and a blue-and-black colour scheme. The 6700k is a placeholder for the 7700k.

None of these parts are bad at all. Besides, the Vive will cost you 700 pounds, so the 1300 I have left to work with isn't a very flexible budget.

Edit, The Vive is £759.00 now, which means even with my build, you're going to be over budget. A 7700k will also cost more than a 6700k does now.

I don't want a vive right away, I want money to put towards it if I want to buy it.

When I want it, I will get more money.

So far, this looks right for me: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/yg4G2R

Samsung isn't known for making HDDs. Scrap that immediately.

The 8GB RAM is a little stupid in a $1500 + build. So make sure to up that to 16GB.

The SSD is acceptable but not super great

I'm keeping the HDD, it's my temp solution for a drive, and it's been going for a year or two now.

If it dies, I just lose my game files, I will be keeping saves and important things on the SSD.

8GB ram was from when I planned for a £500 build, yes I will be getting more.

SSD is great from what I hear.

You could replace the SSD with a 850 EVO......

So you started by declaring a budget of $2000, then telling me you wanted a Vive, then telling me you wanted it later and can get more money for it. You'd have saved a lot of time and effort by deciding on a concrete budget for the PC and just the PC.

Also, a better HDD won't cost much more. That 5400RPM speed will likely double your load times over a 7200RPM drive.
