So I've scraped up some old/used parts from several different PC's and decided to create a low tier gaming rig, fairly new to this but could use some advice.

I've managed to get some random 775 socket mobo and am having trouble deciding if i should throw in a pentium e5800 or a q6600 into it, i got 3 gigs of ddr3 memory.

Also i was wondering what kind of graphics card i should get, I'm looking to get a used one for dirt cheap, definitely no more than $50.

I'm just trying to get this thing to play 1080p youtube videos and play games like minecraft and other small indie games

It's a intel G41T-AD

i'd recommend the q6600(or any quad core).

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

1) I'd take the E5800 Pentium because the motherboard doesn't support above Dual Core and this one is the faster clocked of the two.

2) As for the graphics card, I found this nice one with 1gb of RAM and a good amount of IO in the $30 range: http://www.superbiiz.com/detail.php?p=EV-GT610_1&c=fr&hash=fcb8R7oO7LdyK1EPku%2BZXQqcrr%2Fe75537ogxbLh%2BN%2FXWxNPKEnm0YSvfX7J5ApiibApTqdkDkI1yhC%2FYMuizy0RWxe8wvqZ87Q%2BUlyOlfUNtkPZn46tH5FCU%2F6EV&gclid=Cj0KEQiAhZPDBRCz642XqYOCpb8BEiQANUcwT-U1ey6GpyXs67yB9UVbt6KuGsoRNPQQhDy7m4afGfkaAjQl8P8HAQ

Now i know this mobo has onboard graphics, I'm assuming a GT 610 is better than that

your mobo seems to support core 2 quads so go for that instead.

What's your whole budget?

Well i mean i don't really have a budget, i just scraped up the half decent parts of multiple pcs into one and now all i need is like a graphics card that's less than $50. I just want to play 1080p vids no problem, and games like minecraft and small indie games like FNAF or whatever
