2.5mm alternative to the V Moda BoomPro

Hello LTT Forums!

 

I just got ahold of the Senn HAD 598Cs and would like to use them for gaming. I know about the modmic, but like the approach of the V-Moda BoomPro more. Is there an alternative that works with Sennheisers 2.5mm input jack on the cans?

You may need to do a minor, reversible modification to the headphone to get an adapter to work:
