Upgrade Help

I need help choosing between a FX 6300 and 8300 I want to build a gaming slash rendering PC. My current PC started off as a budget gaming rig. It's using a xfx Rx 480 GT-R black edition and x4 860k CPU. The CPU just ain't cutting it anymore for multitasking and my computer is in my eyes due for a upgrade. I heard for dx12 FX is making a comeback and unless your running a i7 FX overclocked will beat the i5's in rendering. I'm currently using 8gb ram and have a deep cool gamerstorm captain 120 for CPU cooling. I am looking at using a MSI 970A SLI krait edition motherboard. I have a EVGA supernova 650 watt g1 power supply. Is the 8300 with it over the 6300 and with my mother board and power supply would I be able to overclock them.

300 dollars for the upgrade in total I'm gonna use a masterbox 5 by cooler Master for the case. My current case is a bitch.

Right now there is an FX9590 for 250usd on Amazon but you need a mobo with a 8 pin power connector and a beefy cooler

Ignore the USD double post. Also I was thinking of using this Mobo and the 9590 isn't worth it because it won't out perform a i7 for nearing that price range. I only have 650 watts to work with. https://m.newegg.com/Product/Index?itemNumber=N82E16813130849

If you only have 650 watts go with a fx8350 or fx8370 then

I will go with the 8350 but I will have to switch boards. I found a Asus aura gaming board for 10 USD more than the krait edition the only diff is RGB lighting and more fan headers including a dedicated water pump header is it worth it?

Do yourself a favor, and don't get an AMD CPU right now. An i5 will blow it away. If anything wait for AMD Ryzen.

Not to mention for those 8 core CPU's you need a good motherboard and a beefy cooler unless you want this to happen.
