Its not too bad, though a 6400 + 470/480 would probably be better at the price.

Not at $525 CAD ... sadly, Canadian$ isn't worth much :(

525$ CAD... :D, something that barely can purchase a low end smartphone, since i heard a OnePlus 3T, an excellent mid range device, is over 500 or 600$ CAD!

that's mad. i can put together a new PC for myself (no RAM tho) for £510 GBP. This is with a 6500 and RX 480 4GB. Add in ~£30ish for 8GB of RAM and that's a solid PC for not very much.

Spoiler

PC specs: i7 4770s, Zotac GTX 1070 Mini, 16GB DDR3L 1600MHz (2x8GB, cheap Crucial RAM), Crucial BX500 480GB , 2x WD Blue 1TB, Seagate Barracuda 1TB, Windows 7

Laptop Specs: i5 5350U, Intel HD something, 8GB (probably DDR3 idk), 128GB Samsung(?) SSD, MacOS whatever the newest one is

They're slightly better off actually, a 212 evo at 29.98, 6400 at 170.59 and cheapest 470 at around 165, that comes to £365, which converts to over $600 CAD

wouldve been cheaper pre-brexit. It's only going to get more expensive due to us leaving the EU.

Though when the CAD was at par with the USD it was even worse, the prices stayed the same, that meant you could go shop in the US and save a LOT of money. Lots of business lost money during that time!

I even remember seeing stuff made in Canada being cheaper in the US (that never made sense to me).

@xXATHERIALXx it's a good deal, my current setup (see signature) came to around $400

True, even when calculating the sales taxes it's still cheaper here!
