Is this a good budget ssd that is 120gb for 40-50 dollars if bit what is a good one? and also this one is mlc instead of TLC so I believe it is a bit more durable need a quick ssd for my OS

If you can spare a bit more I would suggest to step up to something like this the Sandisk series while decent, I haven't seen them stand the test of time amazingly well.

Then your options are limited, the Sandisk unit will do fine but as I've said from what I've seen most of them drop in performance as they age which is why we are providing some alternative options.

Pretty much. I was in the same situation as you and I purchased an ADATA SX900 instead and it works like new to this day. (Bought it 3-4 years ago). I think the equivalent is the ADATA SP900 now. I'm not from the US so I'm not sure how pricing is over there, but a 120GB over here of the drive I mentioned costs 59.99, so it should be around 50 or less over there.

Yeah it would be a few options, I would say go for this unit if you can't budge on the budget at all it would have a little higher performance and be better long term compared to the Sandisk unit, but just at $54:
