Is the rx480 better than this model?

RX480 4gb is better I would not get a 1060 3gb

If the price is similar. I'd say RX480 4GB is better than the 1060 3GB.

If the 4GB 480 is similarly priced it most definitely would be the better buy.

The extra 1gb of vram will go a long way, I'd recommend the 480 if you can get it at a decent price.
