So basically I'm compiling a list of components I want to have in my pc I was just wanting to know whether I'm choosing right or just doing rookie mistakes all the way. Please take a look and tell me what you think. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/g3pgZ8

Don't go easy on me let me have your solid opinions before I actually spend money on these components.

Thanks in advanced.

Using it 1 as storage and 2 for gaming I have a lot of movies and tv shows and games I already have around a lot of data and have to delete some games so I can install more at the moment. Right now I have a 2 Tb storage so I wanted to have all my games on the same PC.

build a nas for mass storage you can make one easily using a pi 2. for your computer it looks really good.

you dont need thermal compund, all in one already comes with it.  dont need 2 separate kits of ram.  personally wouldnt go founders on gpu.  can usally find aftermarket for cheaper like the asus strix.  i would go for a better PSU with the money u saved

Current Rig=  AMD Ryzen 9 5900x, Asus Crosshair Hero VIII, EVGA RTX 3070 FTW3 ultra, 32gb Corsair Vengence Pro RGB 3000hz White, EVGA 750 P2 PSU, 1TB Samsung 980 Pro, 500gb samsung 860 evo, 250GB Samsung 850 evo, 2TB Samsung 970 Evo Plus, 2TB seagate firecuda sshd,  LianLi PC 011 Dynamic XL ROG edition, Corsair h150i elite capelix

also the actual reason i wanted the founders 1080 was because i genuinely like the look of the shell of it. Also the actual money isn't the problem I'm building it because i like the parts looks and performance

the motherboard is extreme overkill and it already comes with wifi so you dont need a wifi card, also what are you using this for? https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/8dH48d/corsair-vengeance-led-32gb-4-x-8gb-ddr4-3000-memory-cmu32gx4m4c3000c15 its the same meory but cheaper. do you have a build color theme? https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/6shj4D/asus-geforce-gtx-1080-8gb-video-card-rog-strix-gtx1080-8g-gaming its a way better 1080 for about the same price. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/d2CwrH/seasonic-power-supply-ss750km you really shouldnt have a $3000 build and have a bronze psu. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/xJFPxr/asrock-motherboard-x99extreme4 cheaper mobo thats does basicly the same thing, but it doesnt have wifi so you need the wifi card you have
