first time pc builder lost in tech

Just now, PCMR Ricos said:

Thing is, the cores and RAM are faster, the power supply is more efficient, SSD is fast and WD Black has extremely good speeds.

Same SSD and HDD, Power Supply on mine is gold and a much more suitable wattage (1000 is for 3 way SLI), RAM speed wont matter in what hes doing, and you can just overclock the 6800K. The extra PCIe lanes on the 6850K are useless

6850K has more overclocking potential than 6800K, plus the EVGA MOBO is feature wise

also does it make much difference in what version of the gtx1070 you get, like for example the original one from nvidia versus the msi one or the giggabyte one?

Yes the cooler is much better on AIB cards. Plus the FE cards are more expensive

It doesn't make a big difference, however EVGA has better warranty and support, on the other hand MSI is quieter and with better software, Nvidia founders edition is just meh.

It all depends, are you wanting to do like 2-3 renderings at the same time +  doing something else?

That's basically the best you can get, I improved the looks a lot, so you will have a powerful beast, and It will look so cool. Balance between perfomance and looks!
