$36 over your $1900 budget but you get a 1440p 165hz g-sync monitor to make up for it.

Hello LLT community!

I want to build a computer that follows these requirements:

  • Gaming Pc only. not editing or content creation
  • 1080p 144FPS / 1440p 120FPS
  • Console size build, very portable  <---- this is important. like you can bring it anywhere in a backpack.
  • No SLI / Crossfire
  • Can be overclocked
  • Include peripherals only monitor (any 1080p/1440p at 144hz or bettler) and keyboard (k70 rapidfire). i already own a G502
  • SSD (i'd like the new 960 evo) + 2Tb HDD classic combo.
  • M.2 Support.
  • No bad PSU. (ej. old green cx series of corsair)
  • Good airflow (if possible)
  • Closed AIO coolers( if better than traditional air coolers)
  • I already own a copy of windows 8.1 pro. (i don't like win 10)
  • Dont exceed 1.9k USD. if exceed must be a good reason. and max 2k
  • Only can be bought through amazon and newegg.

I think that's all. Also do you guys think is worth the wait of kaby lake and the z270 chipsets or just plain get skylake.

Any feedback, suggestions is appreciated.

If you're just gaming, don't waste money on an M.2 if the case you end up going with can support a 2.5" SATA SSD and a 2TB HDD (2.5" or 3.5"). You won't see any improvements over SATA III.

Come Bloody Angel

Break off your chains

And look what I've found in the dirt.

Pale battered body

Seems she was struggling

Something is wrong with this world.

Fierce Bloody Angel

The blood is on your hands

Why did you come to this world?

Everybody turns to dust.

Everybody turns to dust.

The blood is on your hands.

The blood is on your hands!

Pyo.

I picked the turbo over the zotac amp so that the 1080 wouldn't release the heat into the case and heat up all the other components. And blower fan gpus tend to perform better in itty bitty cases like the one i linked.

I went with the silverstone psu as i wanted to keep to the budget if possible, you can add it in if you think its worth the investment. The ram speed shouldn't impact overclocking performance, if you want fast there's the g.skill ripjaws 3200mhz 16gb ram for $85.
