Hello everyone,

I was wondering if I am able to dual boot windows and mac osx.

Currently I have windows 7 on my ssd. I have two more 1tb HDD's I want to use one for mac osx.

Is this possible?

Would you recommend it?

If so, can you recommend me a guide?

Many thanks :)

Depends on if the board is compatible... which it is, but not very well. OSX requires very specific features for it to work properly.

According to this article, your going to need to flash your bios with a modded one

and heres more info for that board

If you have the time and patience, go ahead, but back everything up and be prepared for a good couple of hours of tweaking :)

EDIT: Your cards should work in sli, but I'm not entirely sure

Intel i7 3770k @ 4.5GHz, Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H, Gigabyte GTX 770 4GB Windforce, 16GB G.Skill - NT 1600MHz, 250GB Samsung Evo SSD, 2x 1TB Seagate HDD, Corsair H100i CPU cooler w/Noctua Fans, 4x SP120, Fractal Design Define R4, LG W224T, Func MS-3, Apple Numeric Keyboard

Did this with my system recently and unless it has changed since then you will need a mac already up and running in order to make the stuff needed to do it. While it "works" I believe with your videos cards you will need to set GraphicsEnabler=no to boot which will make most games totally unplayable, any hardware accelerated software will slow to a crawl (will run faster without HA) so that's things like video or photo editing. Basically unless you're doing it just for fun or maybe iPhone development (which also has its share of problems) it just isn't worth the effort.

But if you do go ahead with it, www.tonymacx86.com has all the info you'll need, here's the guide for 10.8 http://www.tonymacx86.com/61-unibeast-install-os-x-mountain-lion-any-supported-intel-based-pc.html
