What's the system being used for? Need a copy of Windows?

What kind of dollars are you using? Are any peripherals needed?

Yeah i would like Windows 8 Pro. Well lets set it up. NO Peripherals. Just a PC and Monitor. Sorry im not really good at english. US Dollars btw.

Still can't really come up with anything without knowing what I'm supposed to be building.  Whether it is for gaming, work, or something else will heavily affect how the budget is spent and what components are chosen.

Well it's for gaming purposes. I really wanted to play in maximum settings with no lags or fps drops.

No lag and no FPS drops is mostly about optimisation on the games behalf and on your behalf in the game. Also, could you please quote posts that you are answering so that we don't have to keep the page open, thanks.

Here is what I have done, The case is totally up to you.

I didn't put a soundcard in but I would suggest going for a fiio E10 if you can find one.

With the video card, the GTX 780 is a beast but I would suggest that if you don't want to use shadow play or G-sync then wait until there are non reference r9 290x's out there.

The SSD is a huge help in terms of load times but doesn't actually improve performance in games so if you wish to save a few bucks then cut out the SSD.

The monitor that I linked is the best monitor in terms of "gaming performance" and isn't too bad with colour reproduction. You can get cheaper gaming monitors but this is quite good.

I assume that you are not an American. So where is this PC going to end up? If you will import PC parts from the US to let's say Europe, you have to pay a lot off taxes and what not. Meaning you are much better off to buy the parts locally.

Oh im so sorry! Im just new here! Thanks! :D

Welcome! A few things to explain that abit more. You can simply quote a person by pressing on the text he said at the bottom right "quote". Then these messages like above will appear. and giving a notification to that person.

You can aswell tag a person by using a @ followed by his exact name. So for you this would be @LotusG that way that person will aswell get a notification.

Well it's for gaming purposes. I really wanted to play in maximum settings with no lags or fps drops.

FPS drops can be caused by the game, but this is where the hardware part comes in mostly. But some games are able to get an immense FPS increase by driver updates. I think this recently happend for AMD cards for the game Batman Arkham City. I don't know how good it was, because I dont have an AMD card nor do I have that game. But you need to keep that in mind. However, for a high end build this is almost always not to much off a factor because the graphics cards are able to create enough frames for all games to come.

Lag however are a few diffrent things, I mean the PC won't be able to help your internet connection speed and thus if this is dropping then this will affect the gaming experience, no mather how good the PC is. There are however some motherboards, adapter cards that make use off smart software to help improve the gaming experience. I haven't myself read to much about it but will have a look at this if this is helpfull for you.

Then there is another "lag" that is called screen stuttering or tearing. This has to do with the screen and graphics card aswell with the drivers. Nvidia recently announced a new 'product' called G-sync this is highly rated by Linus who was at the Nvidia day where they showed this. This will completely remove the tearing part as far as I understood off it. So please give us abit more information what you mean with "Lag" and we will be able to give you a great build for gaming without those things.

If you don't understand what I mean, please feel free to let me know and I will explain it with simpler words!

I am not sure if the link above worked.

If this shows up with different parts then go for this one.

He said no watercooling! ;)

It worked for me at least, but you want to use the permalink. This is in the top left section, copy paste that one here and that will give the link to all the parts you have on that list.

If it shows watercooling then the link isn't working properly. Unless you mean the h100.

Yes, use the permalink! But that build actually showed the watercooling parts + the h100i :D so... uhm, derp? ^^ There is aswell another build that you gave.. wich had no watercooling parts and just the h100i.

@LotusG

Here you have something for $1900 with monitor. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1VRlq

You may vary the storage solution, depending how much soace you need. The case is also just a suggestion, but it's good. Other good CPU coolers would be the bequiet Dark Rock Pro 2 or the Noctua NH-D14, if you get the noctua though you should rethink about the side window in the case. :D :D

Edit: you may want to step up to an i7-4770K since games start utilizing more than 4 cores, and because your budget allows it. I left it out of my partlist because others on the forums start flaming when you recommend an i7 for gaming. :D

who cares...

Yes, ok. The build that I wanted to show was the one that had no WC parts.

I had WC parts for another build but forgot to take them out. oops!

I wont flame, but you have to understand why the i7 won't increase performance in games. an i7 will still only has 4 cores. Hypertreading doesn't make it 8 cores. The function that is called hyperthreading does not help in almost any game, there are a very few games that see a benefit from having hyperthreading, altho I can't give a source off that. I heard that here here on the forum by someone who does understand computer parts pretty good. So I trust him. But the game developers useally don't want to go for this because hyper threading isn't something that intel made to help games.

In short, an i7 is an i5 with hyperthreading.

In wiki talk:

For each processor core that is physically present, the operating system addresses two virtual or logical cores, and shares the workload between them when possible. The main function of hyper-threading is to decrease the number of dependent instructions on the pipeline. It takes advantage of superscalar architecture (multiple instructions operating on separate data in parallel). They appear to the OS as two processors, thus the OS can schedule two processes at once. In addition two or more processes can use the same resources. If one process fails then the resources can be readily re-allocated.

Hopefully this helps you understand why an i7 is flamed at when you put it in a gaming rig. If you are really worried about needing more cores, then go the AMD route. They have chips with 8 physical cores. But I honestly am sitting here and thinking, well - Intel makes alot off CPUs for the market. I am pretty darn sure they get to talk with game developers aswell. If Intel would stay on 4 cores with their current generation, I am sure that games will stil work perfectly fine with 4 cores for a pretty long time. Ofcourse, I can not look into the future, so maybe i'm wrong, this is just my take on it.

Why Pro? Monitors are peripherals.

Title says gaming.

Well it's for gaming purposes. I really wanted to play in maximum settings with no lags or fps drops.

Lag can depend on your internet connection as well.

Also, there are games that are just unreasonable. You won't be able to max out every game regardless of what hardware you try to fit without an absurd budget.

@, short version of what @Kiwiandapple said:

An i7 and i5 have the same cores but use them differently. Games already use the 4 cores efficiently so the optimization that HT is doesn't improve gaming performance but helps other programs that use the 4 cores inefficiently without HT in the case of the i5.
