Third monitor has no input during bootup

Yuhandong

Hello,

I have a triple display setup but however when my computer is booting up only two of the three will have a signal. The third won't until it get's to the lock screen. I know it's not a big deal but it bothers me. Does anyone know what it is?

That's odd... I did experience only one of the monitors getting an input during bootup (the main display) since your UEFI and flash screen don't support multi-monitor setups. Are all the monitors the same model?

are they all running off the same gpu

This is due to the drivers not loading until the lock screen, but really how often do you reboot your system. Just sleep it and you can go months with out a reboot.

Same.  Four moniors, one GPU, video on only 2 till I'm Im in Windows.  But since each screen shows the same thing till I'm in the OS, why care?  I don't need to see the UEFI on every screen.
