Audio Issues Windows 10

My volume mixer keeps on changing my audio settings from all the way up to down, and back up again

Right-click your Audio Volume.

Go to Communications.

Click "Do Nothing".

my audio output is a headset so..that is external...but my sound is coming from my motherboard

OK. Do you have the Realtek audio drivers installed, or are you using the Windows 10 drivers?

I did a fresh reinstall of the drivers 3 times, once with the generic windows, from the motherboard manufacturers page and once from the disc that followed my motherboard

What OS were you using? Since you're on Win10, did you upgrade or fresh install?

I've been using Win10 for sometime, it was a fresh install. I remember that the issues started when I messed with something called "legacy audio subsystem" on Discord

Is there anything else that you can remember? I'm not too familiar with Discord, so fixing any issues may not be easy.

It was basically that, but it's weird that removing and reinstalling the drivers didn't correct the issue...hmmm

Can you uninstall Discord, delete its folders, and let me know what happens?
