Toaster Bays

To my knowledge they haven't done videos on these. This is because these aren't "sexy" products that people really care about. Those who need something like this already know about it and likely have one.

Also, at the end of the day, its a hard drive enclosure, and reviews of hard drive enclosures would suck.

When in doubt, re-format.

1) I rarely use my 2 bay Orico hard toaster.

2) When I need that toaster, it's a god send.

 

Cloning HDDs, trying to diagnose failed drives, testing old drives being pulled an repurposed, it's all a great application for a toaster.

 

That said there's not much to review.  They're mostly just SATA to USB2/USB3/FireWire/eSata adaptors, some have simple stand alone clone features. It's kinda like reviewing an external HDD enclosure without reviewing a hard drive.  it works or it doesn't.
