RJ45 Ethernet Socket Pin Out

Fyfey96

Hello, I am running an Ethernet cable and I have made one end of as a normal RJ45 plug. The other end is going into a RJ45 wall plate but I don't have the instructions for it as I used it before. I wired my plug - OW,O,GW,BL,BLW,G,BRW,BR

which is the T568B standard. See attached picture. Is it as simple as 1 - 8 the same as above.... or what?

The thing that threw me was it looks like there was BRW in the second from top left.

any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks

Then top right going down

It's actually on the diagram. Just pay attention to the "b" side.

Looking at it here are the pins on the left side

2

5

4

Pins on the right side are

7

8

3

6

Applying TI 568B to it

Jack Wiring
Pin # T568B
1 White/Orange
2 Orange
3 White/Green
4 Blue
5 White/Blue
6 Green
7 White/Brown
8 Brown

pins on the left side:

1 White orange

2 Orange

5 White Blue

4 Blue

Pins on the right side:

7 White Brown

8 Brown

3 White Green

6 Green

Which match the colors on the "B" Side of the sticker on the jack. xD

Thanks for your response I was pretty sure that was the case and I knew the diagram was on it and that's what I thought just there was a brown in wrong place that put me off and it's because my dad screwed up the crimp end before and just swapped them in the plug lol. Thanks
