My Build Plan

Burgerman4

Hi all, I have planned a build but i'm not sure if these components are all right for the purpose intended. I have done the best i can when planning, but this is the first time that i have chosen the parts (I have built before so no trouble there) and im a bit worried that i have gone wrong somewhere.

This build is intended for Gameplay capture and Gaming

For capture i am aiming for at least a quad core processor and a HDD with a fast write speed

I was also not sure about how much power i would need, so help with the PSU would be appreciated.

Dont buy an APU when you're getting a dedicated GPU.

Have fun ^^

And btw: What exactly do you mean by Big releases? There is quite a limit to what a GT 640 can play... It is unfortunately technically not even meant for gaming...

Try that list :)

It will be better option as your main issue here is that the GPY is a bit underpowered for gaming.

Please, if this is a low-budget build, don't go for a Nvidia Card. AMD will give you much better framerates for the money.

I Will tolerate 20 fps at the lowest and resolution i will play at any. If i do any gaming i use my laptop and play at 800 x 800 and it doesn't bother me

Considering his original build I would guess no more than 1080p. He's probably a norm, so 60fps for FPS games.

EDIT: He said 20fps, never mind

For the 7870 what does it output? (eg HDMI)

Also i doubt this changes things but i prefer to run a dual monitor set-up

mobo is very good, 8+2 power phase, support 8320/8350

12 gigs for editing -> jump down to 8 if you dont need to or go to 16 if you need more

WD Black for recording.

power supply- > no brainer

Any of them, there is no difference, and your cooler will come with a tube of it

the build is weak for your needs.

don`t buy apu if you get a dedicated card.also the cpu found in the apu will struggle with gameplay recording and will be slow for editing the captured video.however go with nvidia shadowplay
