pci is for gpu's and eps is for cpu's

 

You will normally need one 8 pin for a 1070, but depends on the exact model.

Keep in mind that you need a 6+2 pin (8 pin) PCI-e cable. NOT a 4+4 pin (also 8 pin) EPS power cable. Those are not interchangeable; they're designed only to fit where they belong.

Lol found that out the hard (?) way when I spent 10 minutes scraping myself on my hyper 212 evo trying to pug gpu cables into the cpu power socket. xD 

i5 6600k and GTX 1070 but I play 1600-900. 1440p BABY!

Still, don't put too much faith in my buying decisions. xD
