I just wanted to know if members of this forum Ski or Snowboard and why. Feel free to argue why your side is better, but no personal attacks. Also what level of ride can you go down IE green, blue, clack, double black, freeski.

I like both, as well as skateboarding, bicycling, and roller blading. Basically if it goes on your feet and you can do tricks with it I have done/regularly do it. I have done hills/paths of all levels.

ENCRYPTION IS NOT A CRIME

Snowboarding without question. Snowboarding was expensive during my youth/teens so I took up skateboarding instead.

jk do you backpack?

Hiking and camping usually once a season for three to four days. Use to do it more in when I was in NJ on the mountains, but I'm a veterinarian and love to work in the field and camping is an awesome exercise in learning of animal behavior whenever I can afford time.

Either that or spend a week at a boring conference in Bermuda, which the wife prefers.

ahhh, well I'm glad there is at least one person on here who likes the outdoors :). Sorry about the conferences those seem pretty boring IMO. Also sidenote, what is the coolest animal or animal doing a thing that you have seen

i used to snowboard down our 200' hills by our house, that is about as good as it gets in Nebraska unless you drive 8 hours.  I did go to an actual resort in Nevada once (Mt Rose i think) and damn near broke my knee.  I borrowed someone else board for the day and had a binding come loose mid-way down the mountain.  Surely that impressed the girl I was with at the time -_-

My dogs asking for more food... It's like "Time for dinner!", and they look at you signaling "we're getting more than a few cups, right?".

Honestly, my mini schnauzer still shows the wolf in himself when camping. He'll see a rabbit and actually tug on his lead as if I'm going to let him kill the rabbit. Thank goodness for freeze-dried raw food like Vital Essentials. Keeps me from having to hunt an animal just to satiate my dog.

Some resorts still ban skis

Thats blasphemy!

A lift ticket is now $100, ski rentals are $30 for non performance skis package, $50 for performance, throw in food 'n booze, plus transportation $40 return by bus. It aint cheap. I was one of the original crazy canucks who rode his bicycle down black diamond ski runs before most of you were born.
