PC is freezing ONLY under load (HELP!!)

Greenlink74

My PC is freezing when I put it under load. no BSOD, just a hardlock. Here are my specs:
______________________________________________________________
AMD FX 8320E with Arctic Silver Alpine 64 air Cooler

16GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM

one of the cheapest AM3+ motherboards money can buy (new)

GTX 960

EVGA 600W 80+ Silver
______________________________________________________________
I have tried:
Different PSU
Swapped GTX 960 with GTX 650 Ti
Different RAM
OS Reinstall
I am at a loss for what to do, the PC boots into Windows, no overclocking was done, and it only freezes under load.
What do I replace? CPU or Motherboard??

Watch your temps, I've a feeling that CPU Cooler of yours is worse than the stock that comes with the FX-8320E and so it might be overheating and shutting down to prevent damage to itself.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

No, it's as good as the Hyper 212 temp wise for me. Max it hits is 60 Degrees C,the stock cooler hits 70C

This hunk of metal is as good as a Hyper 212 EVO? I have a hard time believing that.

Do yourself a favor and grab a good mobo, one with an 8-pin connector and a heatsink over the power delivery chips

Also, my Mobo has a 4 Pin connector. is this bad for a 95W TDP CPU?

It should just barely be able to handle it tbh

But just in case you could disable Turbo on the BIOS settings and have it run at constant stock clockspeed.

TBH, if my CPU was at fault, my PC may have never even POST'ed, so yeah, Motherboard issues..

I suppose you could, but the motherboard would catch on fire
