What is the cheapest Intel CPU i can buy to play games at 1080p in medium to high settings?

 

P.S. Games like COD Infinity Warfare, COD black ops 3, Battlefield 1, and mostly 2015 and 2016 games.

You could get an i3 but I would highly recommend an i5 6500 or the tier just below that the

You could get away with a Pentium but i3 is better if you can stretch to it

A $65 Athlon X4 845 will still do a great job with the titles you listed. It has 4 threads, so no fear of a game not liking it like a Pentium would, and performs fine in games, not amazing but it has good performance considering its price tag. Here's a review
