You seem to think every power supply below tier 3 is a bomb that will explode, chances are it'll just take itself out and the other components/his house will be fine.

It's not a good PSU so if you can return it then I'd highly recommend doing so. A Corsair CX550M would be a much better choice.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
