So I recently upgraded my pc (specs down below). I wondering if my 500w power supply may be limiting my pc. Pcpartpicker says its a 376w system. Not really sure about this so help is appreciated. Regardless I do plan to upgrade to this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LY4OJYJ/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=26LIGVGJLQQ6K&coliid=IEQSD3NC96KUU&th=1

My Specs:

EVGA Geforce GTX 1070 SC

Intel Core i7 6700k

Asus Z170-A Mobo

8GB Corsair Vengeance RAM

1TB HDD

EVGA 500w PSU

What power supply do you have?  It really depends on where the 500 watts is going.  EVGA is kinda good at making a 500 watt PSU where 200 watts of it goes to your 5v rail.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

The 850G3 is most certainly the better option. 500W is still plenty for a 1070 and i7, however.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Naw, naw, naw, you go outside and find some kid with a go-kart....punch him.....aaaaaand take that go kart 12v and use jumper cables to clamp it directly on the wires for the cpu. Then you're all set!!!

Mine works great and from what I hear, the kid EVENTUALLY stopped wetting the bed and having night terrors....... So win-win!! ? ? ? ?
