Possible to clear/delete previously used keys?

I'm selling my PC on CraigsList, and I don't want the person I'm selling it to to have access to the 3 or so Windows 10 Pro keys I have used to install Windows with. How do I remove them?

How the hell did you install windows with 3 differnect keys?

Also, those keys are kind of vital to windows functioning. That's why you entered them right?

You could delicense windows, but why?

 

i5 6600k and GTX 1070 but I play 1600-900. 1440p BABY!

Still, don't put too much faith in my buying decisions. xD

Different installs on different hard drives. It's a family PC, and we all have our own separate OS based on personal preference. (2 are from 8.1 Pro, one is from 7 Ultimate; we all updated to Win 10) We just got a nicer PC with great parts so we're getting rid of the old one.

Ohhhhh

Can't you just physically move over the hard drives to the new pc then?

i5 6600k and GTX 1070 but I play 1600-900. 1440p BABY!

Still, don't put too much faith in my buying decisions. xD

I can, but Windows 10 carries the upgraded license with the motherboard. I was wondering if I could clear the motherboard of the ties to the keys, so we can use them to go from 8.1 -> 10 through the Assisted program

I've had reps remote controlling my pc. They reach for Chrome browser before Edge. LMFAO

Do you have the cd keys for windows 10 (as in you brought new copies)? or did you go through the upgrade program from 7+?

Just don't give them the keys...  I mean the Windows license is tied to the MACHINE not the user.  The only way you can untie the license is based on a "good faith" that you threw the computer away.  If you sold the computer to someone else, the license sticks with the MACHINE.

AFAIK Windows only remembers the one key its currently activated with. So unless you have physically edged or written other keys on case, it would only have the single key which is used for current activation.
