Dropbox ending "Public" folder sharing

I wonder what that means for Tabletop Simulator mods now, they basically live on Dropbox public folders.

I'm not sure this was the best decision. I've used dropbox since 2011 and I love it's ease of use and how easy it is to share direct files rather than use websites like mediafire. Just put it in a folder, right click and get the public link. This is great because it gives the direct link for photos, zip folders, ect...

 

Now that they are removing this, I will no longer be using dropbox since that was it's only purpose. I think they will be losing a lot of customers by doing this.

I don't think Kim Dotcom is going to create new alternative.

Kim has nothing to do with that website and it's recently been sold to a Chinese company. Tldr not private anymore.
