Hey, for all the geekey videogame-makers who use the unity game engine out there (like me)

 

Unity 5.5 is out! Yay.

 

(Minor celebration)

HoloLens support no longer in beta (Now its officially 100% implemented), epic new particle system, a new tool to created splash screens without code and large animator improvements, and more

I have primarily used it to make games (not released ones, just hobbyist like) and have also used it at a job to work on a virtual reality based 'experience' (not really a game, but comes close to that). This programming was done for PC's, but also mobile devices. It may sound weird, but the coolest added feature is probably (in my opinion) the splash screen tool. That gives apps/games just a very cool touch.

Cool. I think the coolest feature is the splash screen tool too! (The new particle system is cool too, thought.)
