Well idk, i3 is pretty crappy to me for gaming and now of the used pcs there are recent just old stuff, but I guess the i3 could work and over time you could buy a new cpu and a case then get better parts as you go along.

for 400$ price mark i could get a ps4 pro , but i hate consoles
