Well, the 4GB GTX 1050 Ti costs 325 USD, the Asus RX 470 350 USD and both XFX and Sapphire's RX 470 356 USD. The 3GB GTX 1060 is already a bit out of my budget, at 382USD. The 4GB RX 480 is a bit more expensive, but I can still afford it, while the 8GB RX 480 and 6GB GTX 1060 are totally out of my reach.

Personally if I were you in would get the rx 470 from sapphire. I've only heard good things and pay the extra money for a cut down 1060 with 3gb of ram just doesn't make.sense to me. Now if you wanted to buy the 6gb version then it would be worth it but that probably cost a lot more. Also the RX 480 4gb version would also be worth getting too if you wanted to spend that much as it does have a significant edge over the 470. The gtx 1050ti is just a bad deal with the rx 470 being priced so closely to it.

Well it's either the RX 470 or the 4GB RX 480. The 3GB 1060 is kinda in a funny spot with its lower VRAM amount and let's not forget that its the slightly cut down version as well.

You cant compare AMD and NVidia Clockspeeds on by one.

The GTX1060 would be my first Choice out of these. The second would be the Sapphire RX470.

If you can afford it, get the 1060. However, for good performance at 1080p, go for the 1050ti. I have a Zotac 1050ti, and I love it.

I'd suggest you get the GTX 1060 6GB because currently, even though having many new features through driver updates, AMD still doesn't have something comparable to Fast Sync which prevents screen tearing when your FPS is more than your monitor's refresh rate. :)

Well now that we know the price of the RX 480 4GB from where he is getting it, I think its better for him to get that. Comes with the extra VRAM and is around the same performance for just a bit extra over the 3GB 1060.

The 6GB 1060 is out of his budget, and its price is kinda off (70 over the 4GB RX 480 is too much!).

Currency is Argentine Pesos, his budget is somewhere around 350 USD. I think he can afford to get over budget to 390 USD but not 450ish USD (the price of the 6GB 1060 from wherever he is getting it from is 469 USD).

GPUs seem pretty pricey there in Argentina. And I thought the prices in Malaysia were bad (about 280 USD for a GTX 1060 6GB here). :)

Yeah, we have one of the highest inflation rates in the world, and the previous government put really strict importation restrictions, so everything is a lot more expensive and difficult to get. Can't wait for the day I can get out of this bloody country

Thank you, guys. You've been really helpful. I'm definitely going for the Sapphire RX 480, even if I have to pay a bit more than I had originally planned. Again, thank you!
