help looking for wireless router / range extender

Pretty much need help finding a pretty decent, inexpensive WiFi extender. The biggest priority with it is that it needs to have really big area coverage, something like 100 feet if possible.

 

Something along the lines of this perhaps, (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833168107) I'm on my phone at work so can't look into that one or other routers at this time and verify how much they cover

keep in mind that wireless router, Access point and  wireless extender are different devices. Some AP can be configured as wifi extender but not the other way around.

Try the Securifi Almond. I've had great luck with them, and I was still using mine up until a few weeks ago when a power outage messed up my whole network, and me, being dumb, accidentally set fire to it with the wrong power adapter. But their tech support is wonderful, and if you call them after hours, they'll call back and check on you. The Almond has a touch screen for all of its configuration. I'd highly recommend one.

It looks nice, but like I said, I want a fairly inexpensive router/extender.

This one here looks good, and if it can cover up to 10,000 square feet then that should definitely work just fine.

What do you mean? The item you linked to costs $17 more than the Almond, or were you looking at the fancy Almond? The basic one is good as a range extender, so don't spend all your money on the fancy one.

I went to their site and ones I saw there were 120-180ish plus

probably could find cheaper on other sites though I guess

Those are the fancy ones you would need if this were a router serving a large area. This basic one I linked to above will work great for an extender, even if your conditions are less than ideal.

It worked for my 2,900 square foot house, and it was positioned on one of the far end walls. Just put it in the middle of your place and you'll be perfectly fine, I just didn't have anywhere else to put it.
