So im thinking on buying an Alienware 13 with OLED screen, but im kind of scared about the burn in issues. I know is to early to judge, but, do the owners have had any issues with their Alienware?

Side question. ¿Are there any rumours about a Alienware 15" OLED screen so far?

I don't own this particular laptop, but I have owned two OLED screen devices: a Microsoft Zune HD and a Motorola Moto X. The Zune HD I had for about 5 years before the unit started pooping out, but the screen showed no signs of burn-in despite having the same lock screen for years and it does have some measure of static elements (the media controls). Similarly with the Moto X, it did not show any signs of burn-in, despite the Android top and bottom bars being there.

The only explanation I can provide is that I ran the screens at their lowest brightness settings unless they needed to be brighter.

well burn in on OLED is a thing, that is also why you see laptops with an OLED screen dim fast. My phone had a small problem with burn in (lumia 930) and it has a OLED screen, but nokia replaced it.

I would be carefull with OLED screens.
