AMD 13.1 drivers

I cannot fold on my 7850 with the 13.1 drivers, I have to go back to 12.8. Does anyone know if there is a fix for them as I'm seeing a big decrease in FPS in games due to the downgrade.

This is the third time I've had a problem, spent 20 minutes trying to solve it, gone to the LTT forums, made a thread and fixed it 5 minutes later by myself! :p

For anyone with the same problem, simply dedicate a CPU core to the GPU.

Yep - that is usually one fix. The big problem is for the 7000 series cards, you really need 13.x drivers for game performance. But, overall, they are crap. :) Lot of other things, like Folding, just don't work properly. Nice thing, with 6000 series cards, there is zero benefit in the drivers after 12.10 - so I am sitting tight at that for a while.

you can try 13.1 with old SDK and OpenCL or you can get em from here(http://www.darkryder.com/#pricing_modified) i personally dont participate in folding@home (i use boinc) and we had similiar issues on driver side; i was getting 5k points daily with 13.1 - now i'm using 13.2 Beta 5 with 12.8 SDK i'm getting around 26k points daily , you should atleast give it a try in the end you dont sacrifice fps at gaming and at helping projects (edit:just realized you fixed it before i posted)
