I've never built a pc before in my life, but I've been doing some research and I want to build a portable mini itx pc that is under a thousand dollars. I want to have a decently powered rig and was thinking of at least 2k or 1440 graphics at around or above 60 fps. I want to build around a RVZ02 case or something similar. Any feedback or suggestions would be much appreciated.

I would seriously consider this case. It's the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ITX.

It also has a 200mm fan so it runs quiet as hell

This should do pretty well for that price, so long as you don't include monitor in that budget.

That isn't too bad, but the cooler can barely even keep up with the 6600k at stock.

I love that case so much. :P

I would watch the power draw though. You might be cutting it fine with 450W

I think this would be a good PC, it's got a 1070, a i5 6600, you didn't say you were overclocking so I didn't add anything like that in. I also put 16GB of ram in, and the price is $26 over budget, but this PC has good hardware and should last you a long time. Oh and I managed to add a SSD and a 2TB drive, I added those because games are starting to use anywhere between 10GB - 80GB per game. I think you would absolutely love gaming on here, and you will have a slight bottleneck but not by much. Have fun building!
