How much would this build go for used?

Balfan123

I built it in April and just didn't get the use out of it that I thought I would. It's got less than 50hrs use on it except the 980 which was my original main card. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/2krHqk. Everything listed will be sold. Sorry if this post doesn't completely fit, I just find this community to be the most helpful and responsive.

Wrong area and I have not found this community too helpful yet... or responsive. Anyway you could basically ask about same price -10% of the current price and sell them as parts. Nobody buys complete kits these days.

Given the performance of current-gen GPUs, namely the GTX 1060, and given the prices between the 980 and the 1060, I'd say... $1300 would be fair if you went by raw dollar value, tacking on the fact that it's used would probably drop it down to $1200 in all honesty if it's in good condition. :)

Hey thanks for the help man! I was thinking around $1200 but I just wanted some other opinions.

$900-$1000 for the PC

Unless you go on Craigslist.

The GTX 980 for example is worth $220 at best.

$900 seems a little low for the PC with all peripherals. Are you talking about just the PC itself?

Yes just the PC, You wont sell the PC with everything more then likely. Better off parting out the peripherals
