Home networking upgrade??

Hey, so im planning to upgrade my house networking gear, as rn im on the ISP provided little combo unit, and it is horrible. Anyway, im not to sure on the arrangements. So ive looked around and i have an idea of what to do, so i want to have an ubiquiti security gateway pro running to a switch, going to 2 AP PROs, one upstairs and one downstairs. Could someone validate the effectivness of the setup. Also, i kinda want a gaming router with some handy features but i dont know how that will fit into all of this. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Should work fine.

 

No need for a gaming router, its all marketing, the ubiquity router has qos if thats what you want.

If you house isn't very big, id try just one for now. they have a pretty long range(about 70 feet) in the places ive installed them.
