Hey guys i want to stream to twitch as a joke for me and my friends so im not willing to spend any money on hardware or software for this.

My specs:

i5 4460 3.2ghz

8gb ddr3

gtx 1070

I want to know if i can stream at all. light titles like league and cs go would be nice but i would like to stream higher end games as well(but not a focus). I was wondering what software i should use and what my settings should be.

Thanks in advance.

Yes you can stream. But NVENC is not that good in streaming only in recording. Try looking up some OBS tutorials

In what manner, works perfectly for me and my friend without an quality or fps issues.

I'm not saying its bad I'm saying there are better alternitives for STREAMING because x264 Encoding is better quality but more CPU hungry (It looks better) For NVENC you need to use a high bitrate for it to look nice (around 6000-10000) and not everyone has 100 mb speed net.

An i5 4460 is not powerful enough to stream using h264 and streams on twitch use 3500k bitrates and on YouTube around 3500-4500k if you're streaming 720p.

There's no reason to use anything else because there's more than enough quality in the video feed. You get more problems from the compression with the service which you can't change.
