im currently looking for a new device for game design.  im just starting to get into it so ill probably be using the adobe programs for now.  im looking at the razor blade stealth, surface pro 4 or even an ipad pro.  now i know the ipad cant run full adobe software but it can run app versions for the time being and i can get a pencil for some precise drawings.  the razor blade stealth is the cheapest option besides the ipad but the one thing that is detouring me away from it is that i cant actually see it in person.  No one in my area sells it.  i read all the reviews on it and they all say its a great option tho.  and then there is a the surface pro 4.  the advantage to this device is its implantation of the surface pen which is similar to the apple pencil.  yet it is the most expensive of the devices.  the specific models im looking at is the ipad pro 12.9 128gb, razor blade stealth 2016 i7 512gb 16gb RAM with the QHD screen,  surface pro 4 i7 16gb 256gb storage.  i am also open to other opinions of what you guys think.  i dont want a mac so dont even bother telling me about them.  I live in the US and my budget is around $1600 but can go a little higher if really needed but prefer to not.  ive looked at the xps and the zenbook also.  dont like the xps because there are just too dam overpriced and the zenbook i just cant use just like the blade.  so what do you guys think i can get.  also to mention it has to be portible,  no larger then a 15 inch screen, long battery life is possible and ability to use a stylus and also i want a touch screen. Thanks!

If you want a touchscreen with stylus the surfaces are probably gonna be one of your best choices. If you want you can look at the Surface Book which starts at 1500. You're only gonna get 8gb RAM and 128gb storage at that price but it does have better battery life than the surface pro 4. If you're a student you might be able to get a 10% discount from the microsoft store. Otherwise you should probably look at the pro 4. I don't think there are a lot of laptops out there aiming at stylus+touchscreen so those two might be your best bet.

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.
