Low Profile 4K GPU recommendations

Hello All,

 

Anyone have any recommendations for a low profile GPU capable of 4K resolution?  The end-user only needs to do basic accounting and MS office.  It will be installed in a Lenovo M83 workstation.

If its just for display driving, iGPU on any modern CPU will work just fine

If he ever needs a little bit more horsepower, he will be screwed. 1050 is only 100$, not much in my opinion.

How is that so? I ran my HD 4600 at 4K and stream some YouTube videos too. The limitation was my internet connection.

If you really need something just get a RX 460 2GB or something used, no real horsepower required

I went with an EVGA GT 730 for $69 amazon.  If it fails I'll go w/1050 as an alternate.

 

Depending on the CPU you might actually be better off taking it out and using it as a paper weight. A modern CPU should be able to outperform th GT 730. http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/compare.php?cmp[]=2906&cmp[]=3281&cmp[]=3540
