What are you getting currently? Because my 860M, a weaker 750 Ti, gets 90~FPS on low-med. Your Q6600 might be holding you back more than your GPU.

Should be fine given that a G3258 at low clock speeds can get 50fps

Rare chance there's a newer CPU instruction missing that would make it perform horribly

So i have a q6600 and 7 gb of ram tho i have a gtx 750 ti and i need some more fps.I am probably gona take smthing used.Btw i found a  club3 d r9 270 royalqueen for under 100 euro would that be fine>?

Sounds about fine for the money, only other big step up for new parts anyways would be to an RX 470

There's a new Power Color 370 for 140 EU here

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

I have a system with an R9 270X and Xeon X5450, as well as my laptop running an 860M and i7-4710HQ. My laptop gets a higher, more stable FPS, the Xeon system is showing that it's limited by the CPU.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.

I'd probably try to find an unlocked i7 in that same family... just so I can oc and get the most out of it... i5's are kinda meh when they are old since they don't have HT

While an i5 would be an upgrade, I'd recommend trying to get an unlocked i5 or i7 instead, but if that'a all you can get it would still be a considerable improvement.

But do keep in mind with my example, while my laptop can achieve a higher FPS, it has to play at a lower graphical quality. The CPU bottleneck on my desktop prevents it from going above 70FPS, but the GPU lets me play on high settings versus my 860M only be able to play medium/low settings. Get the component that makes more sense first. If you want better quality now, get a better GPU. If you want a higher frame rate, I'd recommend a new processor. In an ideal world I would say get both, but it'a up to you.

My brother's been using a HD 7950 for Overwatch since the day the game launched; no complaints from him so far.

HD 7950 = R9-280 (but note the HD 7950 is a Vapor-X variant)

[ BTW, not his PC, but MY Z97 Intel build in my signature]

You should be okay with a R9-270, but may need to turn some of the "eye candy" settings down just a tiny bit.
