I know this might be the stupdiest quesiton someone have ever asked, but when I read other places everyone suggest DDU, and I don't feel so safe going into Safemode, since I have read that people can get stuck in it, so i am asking can i just use my Experience to upgrade to my latest driver, I am using 375.70 Nvidia on a Asus ROG Strixc 1070, anyone know how i can do it safest, that i am not comfortable doing that DDU thing in Safemode, also will it give me a worse performance installing over an driver? sorry for my bad english :(

How do people get stuck in safemode..? Even DDU makes you boot back to normal Windows after it has finished running. Also, DDU is the best way to obliterate any fragments for any older drivers, and pretty much everyone on this forum recommends it.

download the latest drivers and run the installer, done. DDU is only for doing a clean install of the drivers you are using now or installing a new GPU

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

But it's usually a good idea to use safe mode and DDU anyway to remove any possible fragments of older drivers.
