Harry Potter POA crack and crash

plempass

I download the hppoa from a torrent and i had some running issues at the beggining finaly i run it but after about 1 hour of gameplay it appears me a problem like that:

General protection fault!

History: FOpenGLTexture::Cache <- FOpenGLRenderInterface::CacheTexture <- FOpenGLRenderInterface::HandleCombinedMaterial <- FOpenGLRenderInterface::SetShaderMaterial <- FOpenGLRenderInterface::SetMaterial <- RenderStaticMesh <- FDynamicActor::Render <- RenderLevel <- FLevelSceneNode::Render <- FPlayerSceneNode::Render <- UGameEngine::Draw <- UWindowsViewport::Repaint <- UWindowsClient::Tick <- ClientTick <- UGameEngine::Tick <- UpdateWorld <- MainLoop

I have win 10 and I dont want to run the game on VM.

A previous bug has been solved by a modification at the .ini files. I prefer something like that :-)

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME MY GIRLFRIEND WANT TO PLAY THAT GAME AND SHE WILL KILL IF I DONT FIX IT :-)

thank you in advance!!!

it is an interrupt that is triggered when the program tries to do something it shouldn't. Prob a memory leak or i don't know its a win xp game running on windows 10

not necessarily. he's not asking how to pirate or crack the game. He has stated he has it running for about an hour. The way I read the post he's asking how to run an old game on windows 10. If he removed his 'purchasing decision' from his original post he might get some helpful answers.

Talking about piracy in general, broad details, is acceptable however the posting or discussing pirated/hacked/cracked or otherwise nefariously obtained content is not. This includes Windows content, games, hackintosh, etc. Also discussions regarding ways to avoid or block legitimately installed monitoring/tracking software or the like is also not allowed.

yes I know that I regularly post it when someone asks about hackintosh. But he is not asking how to procure copyrighted software and he is not asking how to bypass DRM restrictions. He is asking how to run some shitty old game in windows 10. He just needs to remove one sentence and change the bloody title of the post.
