Is Watchdogs for PC broke?

CheezyAnuz

I just got watchdogs 2 with my gtx 1080 Gaming X from MSI and I downloaded and hooked it all up and such but when I get in the game it wont run very well on high settings. I have a i7600k, 16 gb of corsair dominator platnum ddr4 ram. I have it on SSD as well

Are all your drivers updated? And when you say it won't run well, give specifics.

I would rather agree on what we share, than fight on what we don't. - Myself

Should be fine, not the easiest game to run but 1080p or 1440p should be fine for a 1080 4k is the part where it struggles to hit the consistent 60fps for this title.

I'm getting a consistent 70 on triple 1080. Still working out kinks but it's working well.

On my 780 it's performing about as well as I'm expecting new releases to run on that GPU so I don't believe it's broken no.

Yes, it's pretty much another terrible Ubisoft port that is not optimized for PC at all. I run it with two GTX 1080's, i7-6700k, 16gb RAM, on max settings and still get drops to 40 in some areas. Despite Ubisoft working with Nvidia to createa custom SLI profile, there's almost no performance difference.

I am getting everywhere between 15-60 fps (vsync capped) with my 1080 on ultra settings 1440p. I am fairly upset at how shitty the optimization is.

So I have a gtx 1080 with i7 6700k and its runs pretty bad. Is it really CPU heavy?
