Is Tunnelbear really the best choice for an encrypted VPN connection? Does it keep all possible outside parties from knowing what you're doing with internet activity or what you're viewing? I'm just curious, it says they don't log traffic, have 256 bit encryption but could an ISP or a tech savvy user be able to still compromise privacy even with these options?

i would use Express VPN - used it while i was in china visiting family and worked great - high speeds nearing what the router's maxes were (like the max bandwith for the isp even though it's routing through 2 or more routers now) - you also get a month free if you ask them for a refund after a month

It only keeps your isp from knowing what your doing. Every one else still knows whats being sent after the vpn, they just have a different IP.

Its really not worth it to get a vpn for most users.

There are other ones out there .

There are certain laws as well in the united states where they can have access to their data base if they choose to do so. Tunnel bear has great speeds and heavy encryption but does not support things like torrenting (there are legal kinds). But the company is located in the united states I believe. I recommend Express VPN (somewhat), Private internet access (cheap, reliable, no data logs, and has been around forever. I also believe that they are not located in the us.) and nord vpn (I've heard great things but is a little more expensive.)
