I don't know if many of your are familiar with WW1 but I'm going to ask anyway... What did John J. Pershing accomplish during WW1?

Wikipedia's a great thing, you know.

 

Basically he said that American troops shouldn't be under direct British command and should fight as one unit (one American unit). He then used some good tactics in a battle and at the end of the war he thought that more people should die.

Why did you need to ask this question though? Looking him up on Wikipedia would have given you an entire list of his accomplishments from WW1, along with source links (for the most part at least) at the bottom.

 

I'm all for being friendly to new users and helping them with questions they might not know how to search for, but if you had literally typed your post into google, you would have gotten a dozen results all with the correct information you were looking for.

 

Apologies if I seem harsh. Just trying to understand why you'd ask such a straight forward question to us, when waiting for a reply would take significantly longer then just reading the wiki page or the first search results.
