Looks great :)

Maybe look into some sleeved cables? I just got some from Silverstone, they're in the mail now. Pretty cheap considering.

Also maybe some cheaper RAM? That's pretty pricy for a relatively average speed.

Don't forget that RGB leds go great with a neutral white color scheme :P

the RAM is only +20$ or so for the colour and speed premium, the case is another +20, the cooler for CPU is probably a + 5-10$, the motherboard is a +15$, not even close to the +200$ for a GTX 1070 even

i've(and some other guys) have been making $1000 builds with i7s and gtx 1070s for months, its not difficult at all.

Why? The 6700 will perform the same as a 6600K overclocked if not better. You will have better frametimes and less stuttering + it will be better for multitasking and applications and games that can use hyper-threading.

because I'm hoping I can use the z170 for cannonlake, and while I'm there I'd like the overclock.
