Are they any different from other prebuilt gaming PCs sellers like alienware?

I already have my gaming PC that i built myself, but I've just been hearing a lot lately about Origin PCs. What do you guys think?

Yeah, origin is more "custom" than alienware. Other people like CyberPowerPC, NCIX, etc. actually do custom builds for you, including watercooling, specific parts that may not be the default, etc.

Companies like alienware offer far less flexibility (and usually value).

And then building your own is best because it's fun. And cheaper. And fun.

Main Rig: R9 5950X @ PBO, RTX 3090, 64 GB DDR4 3666, InWin 101, Full Hardline Watercooling

Server: R7 1700X @ 4.0 GHz, GTX 1080 Ti, 32GB DDR4 3000, Cooler Master NR200P, Full Soft Watercooling

LAN Rig: R5 3600X @ PBO, RTX 2070, 32 GB DDR4 3200, Dan Case A4-SFV V4, 120mm AIO for the CPU

HTPC: i7-7700K @ 4.6 GHz, GTX 1050 Ti, 16 GB DDR4 3200, AliExpress K39, IS-47K Cooler

Router: R3 2200G @ stock, 4GB DDR4 2400, what are cases, stock cooler

I don't have a problem...

I think Digital Storm has the finest computers of the lot, but i suppose anything is better than Alienware nowadays eh (valuewise and pieces inside wise)?

Altough, they did make a 13 inch OLED laptop, so respect for that:

Id argue alienware is more custon than orgin.

Orgin is just off the shelf parts put into their own boxes, while alienware/dell make there own boards.

Custom in the sense that they'll watercool or paint for you, Alienware won't

I checked Origin's website and it is extremely expensive. I tried to recreate my build and it ended up costing about 800-1000$ more. And that's using a founders edition GPU instead of a custom one. I don't see how is that any better than the overpriced alienware PCs.

Yes, it is still at a premium. that being said I have found deals for these type of sites where the extra cost is much less, closer to 100 or so.

But I still say build your own, it's SOOO much better. Especially if you're like me and simply building is fun, regardless of the PC that you end up with
