Gigabyte GA-Z170-HD3P - Your opinion?

GrayTech

Hey guys!

I'm currently looking for a LGA 1151 mainboard and when you buy a Gigabyte GA-Z170-HD3P (about 113€)  you get a free 20€ steam gift card after registrating at the moment.

The mainboard looks pretty simple and even though it has a M.2 port and USB 3.1 Type C and A, it still has  TWO PCI slots? Sounds like a strange decission to me.

What is your opinion on this mainboard or do you even have experience with it? Is it worth buying?

Thanks for your help!

I have a GA-H170-D3H for couple of months now, no issue

and the PCI slots are quite useful as it allowed me to use my old Creative X-Fi sound card

the only thing meh about that GA-Z170-HD3P is that it uses a Realtek NIC instead of a Intel one
