Do I see BS here? If you really only have a EVGA 760 as your profile states then there is only one display port connector on your GPU :P.

HDMI doesn't really support 144hz although HDMI 1.4 and above does but there's literally no monitors that actually supports it through HDMI

If you're using DVI, the cables has to be dual link cables (and yes, not some crappy chinese made DVI cable that claims it's 'dual link).

no bs i have a gtx 180 dont use this forum much so did not update

Can you try switching your DP cables around? Maybe only one of them is working for 144hz (As you know, like DVI DL, some cables aren't up to notch)

i tried 5 cables the ones that came with it and 2 i had 

i did manage to get a custom resolution but it only goes to 100hz even i set it to 144hz
