Hello LTT,

I am buying my first true gaming computer in about five months. My budget is $1,200 without the processor, as I will be using the i7-4790K which I am currently using on my psuedo-gaming computer. My question is: should I dish out the extra $150 for a 1080 over a 1070? I play a mix of low FPS games like Minecraft and high FPS/graphics games like Overwatch and Rocket League, if that gives you guys a better idea. I also record and stream, if that matters. Please ask me if you need any other information.

Those games are all fairly easy to play, I wouldn't waste the money unless you plan on playing other new AAA titles soon or want really good future proofing
