New soundcard!

Okay, so my old Creative Audidgy 2 ZS is after like 10 years starting to give up. And I'm now looking ofr a card to replace that with.
I've been looking at the Asus Xonar U5 as I found one for 60 eur and also the Creative SB Z card which also seems like a good deal. But I do not know which one to chose from.

Please help with recomendations!

i am still runing a Audogy 2 ZS platinum eX lol, cant make any drivers work right with windows 10 last time i tried but i mainly use it for outputs so its fine with me lol

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

quite often you dont need an internal soundcard

most people these days either just use their mobo or buy external dac/amp units

 

I'm using a pair of Sennheiser 360 G4ME and I do need one as my onboard audio is dead :)
